Green Tourism Pioneers a New Chapter in Vietnam’s Hospitality Industry  

In Vietnam, the tourism industry is increasingly embracing sustainability and eco-conscious practices, particularly in the resort sector. Resorts are prioritizing environmental conservation, renewable energy integration, and plastic waste reduction while working to protect local ecosystems. These establishments also offer immersive cultural experiences by blending modern design with traditional architectural elements and utilizing locally sourced materials.

Christmas Festival Coming to Da Nang  

A public space in celebration of Christmas Day and New Year – Danang X’mas-New Year – will be opened at pedestrian and stages on the Hàn River banks near the Rồng (Dragon) Bridge from December 19 to January 2, offering entertainment and festive activities for all residents and visitors. The Christmas lights will come on at the landscape zone on the west bank of the Dragon Bridge on December 14, to mark the beginning series of art programmes, carnival and street performances for the following two weeks.

Vietnam’s Tourism Boom Fuels IHG Ambitions  

In the first 10 months of the year, Vietnam welcomed nearly 14 million international visitors, marking an impressive 41 per cent increase from the previous year. Projections indicate the country will reach 18 million arrivals by year’s end, edging closer to pre-pandemic levels. IHG Hotels & Resorts has outlined a strategy that taps into Vietnam’s bustling tourism industry and aims to redefine its luxury, premium and mainstream hospitality offerings. According to growth plans revealed on 14 November, their aim is to extend their luxury hospitality, powerhouse premium, and mainstream brands in Vietnam.

Sa Pa Going Above and Beyond for Foreign Tourists  

Sa Pa, a famous tourist town in northern Vietnam, has rolled out a promotional campaign that includes over 130 tourism firms offering discounts and free services from now until the end of the year. Located in Lao Cai Province, Sa Pa is entering the so-called most beautiful season of the year, known as the ‘cloud-hunting’ season. To attract more tourists, the province has launched its biggest tourism promotional program to date, called ‘Visiting Sa Pa to Catch Sight of Clouds.’
