Following your arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, you will be met by our friendly and licensed representative, who will transfer you to your hotel in Bangkok in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

Breakfast at hotel, today the splendid Grand Palace enclosure is home to many ornate temples and buildings in a variety of architectural styles. Gold leaf, reflective tilling and Buddha Images are to be seen everywhere. The magnificent Wat Phra Kaeo is a treasure trove of Thai arts and home to the Emerald Buddha; Thailand’s most revered Buddha image, located in the heart of the complex. The Royal Thai Decorations and Coin Pavilion is where the permanent exhibition of royal regalia, decorations, medals and coins is kept, dating back to the early 11th century. This temple is considered the largest in Bangkok. The famous Reclining Buddha, constructed in 1932, is enshrined in this temple. The 46-metre long and 15-metre high gold-plated Reclining Buddha, with eyes and feet inlaid with mother-of-pearl brings to mind the Lord Buddha’s entry into Nirvana. The soles also show 108 auspicious characteristics of the true “Buddhaâ€. What Pho was also the first centre of public education in the Kingdom. Nowadays, it is an important place for the teaching and administering of traditional Thai massage. Lunch is served at local restaurant.
Afterwards, board a longtail boat on Chao Phraya River, where you will float leisurely along the river and canals to enjoy scenic views of the capital city’s riverside areas. Many of the residents still live out their old way of life along the rivers of Bangkok.

Day 3
Bangkok - Ayutthaya

Breakfast at hotel, travel north of Bangkok for visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, go by golf cart the majestic mansions of Thailand's Royal family and to visit Wat Niwet Thammaprawat; one of the area's most distinctive Buddhist temples, featuring remarkable Gothic-style architecture and stained-glass windows. Then take the cable car across the river to take a long tail boat to Travel north of Bangkok for about 1.5 hours to the UNESCO Heritage Site of Ayutthaya; the former capital of Siam. Explore the breathtaking temple-studded landscape, visiting the highlighted temples of the city from Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat (where the Buddha’s face naturally emerges out of the tree), and Wat Phra Srisanphet. Proceed on a trip into the local community, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample an unusual local delicacy; candy floss roti.

Day 4
Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Mai

After breakfast at hotel take late morning flight to Chiang Mai, where our tour guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall holding a signboard with your name on it. He will transport you by air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Your day in Chiang Mai will begin with a drive to the mountain temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep; the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai, situated 1,676 metres above the city. Climb up the staircase adorned with imposing-looking Nagas - mythical Thai water spirits - to visit the exquisite golden pagoda. The sound of temple bells fills the air and the view overlooking the city makes for an irresistible photo opportunity. Lunch is served at local restaurant.
Next, visit Wararos market – a local bazaar selling fresh food, fruits and flowers, which buzzes with the hubbub of local Northern Thai life. Finally, board a traditional rickshaw, or 'samlor', that will transport you into the heart of the city, past the ancient city walls to the impressive Wat Phra Singh temple.

Elephant Nature Park

Breakfast at hotel, enjoy a full-day visit to Elephant Nature Park; a natural home and sanctuary for elephants, buffalos, dogs, cats, birds and many other rescued animals. Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through rural countryside to Elephant Nature Park. You will hear the stories of each of the rescued and orphaned elephants. See how they became a proud herd and were freed from their respective hardships. Many visitors find their visit to Elephant Nature Park rewarding and very relaxing. Observe free roaming elephants (no riding), and other rescued animals enjoying the natural surroundings of our sanctuary.

Day 6
Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle

Breakfast at hotel, your guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby, assist you to check out before travel overland in the comfort of a private air-conditioned vehicle to Golden Triangle Chiang Rai. Lunch is served en-route at a local restaurant. After check-in at your hotel, start your day in Chiang Rai by visiting the area where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet at Sob Ruak, forming the “Triangle†between the three countries. From the Golden Triangle, start an interesting boat trip around the mighty Mae Khong River to the old capital city of Chiang Saen (A.D.1260) to visit its ancient ruins and magnificent temples. Visit Chiang Saen Museum (closed on Monday), Wat Pa Sak Ngarm and Wat Phra Thad Jom Kitti overlooking the Mae Khong River. The stupa, built in the mid-14th century, combines elements of the Hariphunchai and Sukhothai styles, along with possible Burmese Bagan influences.

Chiang Rai & Departure

Today you will visit the famous Thai artist, Mr. Thawan Duchanee, who was appointed to be National Artist in 2001. Thawan Duchanee was born in Chiang Rai Province. He is a Thai artist who is distinguished in international art circles, having created his own unique paintings for more than 40 years. He has been regularly invited to share his expertise and experience at international art conferences, and some of his works are on permanent displays in modern art museums and prominent public and private offices in Asia, Europe and the United States. Among his honours is the Arts and Culture Prize from Fukuoka Asian Culture Prize Committee in 2001. His contribution to artistic circles includes the establishment of the Thawan Daschanee Foundation to support visual arts education. He also spent more than 25 years founding a folk-art museum in his hometown to exhibit folk art from the past to the present for the education of younger generations.
Continue to visit Art Bridge; the art gallery and restaurant, which is a non-government funded community-based artist collective that seeks to further nurture and support the arts within Thailand. Lunch is served at the Art Bridge restaurant. After lunch, our guide will escort you to Chiang Rai International Airport for flights to your onward destination.
