A Message from Panorama Destination Malaysia:
Greetings from Kuala Lumpur!
For western countries, winter is coming… But in Malaysia, we enjoy warm sunshine all through the year! This makes us a great destination for holidays, whatever the season. We already have European clients enjoying their summer in Malaysia, and expect to take lots more bookings from these markets in the winter months.
There is something for everyone here. We have islands for relaxation, cities for exploration, nature for escapes and cuisine for indulgence. Let us help you to curate your trips to incorporate the full diversity of Malaysia, so your clients can enjoy the real “cuti-cuti Malaysia” experience.
If you have clients visiting in September, they’re in for a treat: Malaysia Day is celebrated every year on 16 September, to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation in 1963. This was when Malaya, North Borneo (which was renamed Sabah), Sarawak and Singapore united into a single state. Today, Singapore may have left the federation, but the remaining states continue to put on a great show every year. A public holiday since 2011, Malaysia Day is a time for fun, festivities and food.
Looking for a little travel inspiration? Our recommendation for September is Kuala Lumpur. The nation’s capital combines everything Malaysia is famous for: multicultural tourism hotspots, combining a diverse array of attractions for every traveller. From KL Tower to Batu Caves, there is so much to explore and enjoy. For a deeper dive into what makes this city great, check out our Travel With Us blog.
From the urban jungle to the real thing, we’re also helping visitors get back to nature with visits to a unique jungle school in Gombak, which empowers Indigenous peoples to share their cultural knowledge and expertise. The programmes here include survival skills related to the use of flora and fauna, food foraging, traditional hut-making, camping, awareness of rainforest sustainability, cooking and reforestation.
Whenever they intend to visit, and whatever they’re looking to do, you can rest assured your clients with have an unforgettable stay with us in Malaysia. If you have any questions or special requirements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
