A Message from Panorama Destination Indonesia
Greetings from Indonesia!
As we near the end of a very successful year, now is a good time to reflect on a few key highlights, while also looking ahead to some exciting new developments we have coming up in 2024.
First and foremost, this year marked our Golden Anniversary, when Panorama Group celebrated 50 years of operations. Over the last five decades, we have continued to grow and develop, rising to meet every challenge and finding new and innovative ways to serve our growing number of clients around the world. We look forward to supporting you and your customers for many years to come.
And the future is certainly looking bright for Panorama Destination, as we close the year with positive results. 2023 has seen us rebound and recover, putting the pandemic era well and truly behind us. Visitor numbers continue to rise, and the Indonesian government is putting great efforts into developing infrastructure and attractions to welcome more arrivals to these shores.
Looking to the future, Panorama Destination Indonesia is planning to focus more on sustainable green tourism. In 2024 we will implement a carbon calculator, which will help us to lower the emissions associated with our operations. Our tours are also focused increasingly on nature and culture, providing clients with experiences that are meaningful, respectful and environmentally friendly.
This year, Java, Bali and Lombok have been the most popular destinations among our clients and partners, with many tours and packages helping visitors to explore the very best of these storied islands. In 2024, we will be developing our coverage of these popular locations even further, while also extending our focus to include exciting new spots like Sumatra and Labuan Bajo (Komodo).
Time certainly flies when you’re having fun, and this past year has really been a blur. From all of us at Panorama Destination Indonesia, we wish you a Happy New Year and look forward to making 2024 even more successful with you.
Ricky Setiawanto,
Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia.
